GHOST-PA™ Paranormal Investigation Methods

GHOST-PA™ methods are developed to support our mission and philosophy, which briefly stated is to provide help to people experiencing alleged paranormal activity, and to develop new investigation techniques to further the study of paranormal activity.

Our goal is to provide resolution and answers for our client, either by providing logical and natural explanations for the reported activity, or confirmation that something paranormal is in fact taking place, based on collected evidence. If the latter is true we will do everything in our power to help the client regain peace.

All of our ghost investigations are free of charge. Please keep in mind we are self-funded, and as such we may not be able to investigate everyone that contacts us. We will prioritize cases based on phone and/or on-site client interviews.

Science vs. Spiritual Investigation

GHOST-PA™ is a science-based paranormal investigation team. This means that we apply the scientific method to our process and attempt to conduct experiments (investigations), and collect and record data for analysis, to prove or disprove the hypothesis that a location is experiencing paranormal activity (a haunting). Science-based does NOT necessarily mean using technology (instruments and gadgets) althought some instruments are useful tools in collecting accurate data. Simply waving around an EMF detector is not science. Science is in the method and observation, not the tools.

We do not normally use psychics, mediums, sensitives, etc. in our investigations. However, in the interest of our stated mission, we are open to experimenting with parapsychological, metaphysical, spiritual, and religion-based techniques and theories in controlled analysis settings. This is a paradigm shift from our original position, but we realize in order to be as objective as possible no theory should be off limits to test.

These tools are used more to determine what is NOT happening, more so than what is. We believe the human experience of a paranormal event revolves around the human, not the event. In other words we try to focus on the human element, the people, and not just the goal of collecting evidence.
